Signage

At sixteen years old, I began hand lettering signs and vehicles.   At one time I was one of a very few sign painters still able to do gold-leaf surface and window gilding.  Thankfully, in recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in this nearly lost art.

When designing signage, displays and exhibits, I bring to the fore my years of experience in and fabrication of various materials that includes woodworking, plastics, aluminum and steel fabrication, among others.  I take advantage this experience by doing what I call, “designing from the inside out”.  That is to say, as I design a product I am planning and strategizing how it will be constructed.  For many years I’ve been ask by other designer to provide the construction details for their design concepts.  This method of working often saves my clients time and money.
